If you have any interest in driving, you'd get the S2000. If you want to pose, the SLK is the one for you.

If u want an easily modifiable car that looks better, go wit the s2000. personally, i HATE the way the SLK looks and it's so DAMN SMALL!

The S2000 would be my choice between the two.

SLK 230 is as fast as a donkey.

S2000 is as fast as a bunny.

The S2000 is better then the SLK in every area except luxury and the fact the SLK is a hardtop. S2000 is the best roadster on the market for less then the Porsche Boxster. The S2k is fast as hell and a joy to ride. This is one of the few Japanese cars that I would take over its German Counterpart. The SLK just gets wasted by the S2k. The only reason you should buy the SLK would be that either you are a die-hard German car fanatic, or you really like the hardtop. However if your willing to wait a year or so, the SLK is getting completely re-done, making it an actual competitor.

Seen SLK get smoked by a lot of cars it shouldn't have, I think even a prelude. But what about the SLK Kompressor... there's a more to the mix now.

Re: S2000 or SLK 230 Special Edition?

Even the SLK 230 is a Kompressor...it has a supercharger to create 190 some odd HP...now if it was a SLK 32 AMG...now...I take that over the S2k
