Re: m90 or mp112

99 I have heard that the Mp112 is the one that the F-150 Harley packs. I have seen sites (Not sure if ZZP or intense) where they sell you these for your car or ported M90 that behave like the Mp112. The main diff between the Mp112 and M90 is the amount of air that each of them push on each turn. I beleive the M90 pushes 90 cubic inches on each turn, not sure about the Mp112 but I bet is more.
SO this means that both reving at the same rpms the Mp112 would force more air volume than M90 thru the intake manifold. If you install the Mp112 you must make sure that the engine would handle correctly the added air flow.

Re: m90 or mp112

Sounds like your car is going to be a beast.

I just cant believe that you have purchased all the parts and still think that there is a chance the m90 is better.

You havent mentioned an Intercooler? Are you going to try and run the 112 w/out one?

I would also give DHP a call for your pcm. Dont let the cheap price of INTENSE sucker ya.

Im sure down the road you'll want to tune the car more and more so w/ DHP you have the option of getting the ICCU. I dont see anything offered like that from INTENSE.

Re: m90 or mp112

no im not going to run the intercooler its the same bolt pattern but just cant justify a 1000.00 dollars for a core thats f***in insane and rediculous but i am kinda haven doubts on the mp112 great supercharger but the m90 is able to bolt up and with no problems i havent had my car for 3 months so i am very excited to get it back had to reorder tires again tried to put 235/50/18 and am going to go with 245/40/18 so yea i cant wait i think i am going to sell one of the superchargers i also have a spare ls1 throttle body so i am kinda undecided have you heard anything about the iccu

Re: m90 or mp112

If your not going to do the Mp112 right then dont do it at all.

Doing it right means running a intercooler and iccu. Sounds like you're unsure about how far you want to take the car? The MP112 is going to give you hte best gains. Usually addinga iccu/dhp package means that you are running a intercooler.

Re: m90 or mp112

i would like to run an intercooler but i have allready spent so much and need to spend so much more on the heads that i cant really afford a 1000.00 intercooler, there are a lot of people doing the m90 and having no problem keeping up with the mp112 so i am starting to lean towards that and if i decide that i can sell the superchager and get a intercooler for the m90 so ?........

Re: m90 or mp112

Well if you already have the MP112 then wait a little longer(to make the money) and get the PCM and related hardware to drive this SC. Because you have invested a heck more on what you have already and have waited 3 months to get your car back. What the heck wait a little longer and get what you need(money) to install the MP112. You will thank yourself later to wait a little longer now
