Cap prob

im running a single 10" sony xplod sub, at 300 watts, my amp is at 460 watts, im wondering if i even need a cap at this point? the one i bought seems to have fried itself, during the charge when i got it, it started smoking......


what do u think?

shouldn't, set the gain right and upgrade the magic 3 and you should be fine

The wiring from the battery - to ground, alternator to batt +, and chassis to ground. There are wires there stock, but upgrading them will really help keep your voltage up and reduce dimming.

hehe, i jus read your message, but i already figured out the whole system, no dim at all, the sub works amazing, and i drilled a hole through to the chassis for my ground
