ok here's what happened like an hour ago:
my car just sat for about a week...and my car doesn't like to sit for extended periods of time...i should have thought about it before i went on vacation...anyway...i turned it on 2day and it sputtered so i had to rev the engine a lil to keep it alive...it drove fine all day, but this evenin...i went to get gas (it sat with a half a tank for the week) and on the way, it was strugglin to get up to speed BIG TIME...the engine knock got a lot louder and sparratic, and whenever i would press on the gas, the temp gauge would go up, when i would let off, the temp gauge would drop, and so i baby'd it all the way to the gas station, which was about a 1/4 mile up the road...i turned it off right away and propped da hood to cool off da engine...the engine seemed a lot hotter than normal... i had my stepfather follow me home, and on the way home, i baby'd it a lot...i barely pressed the gas down and the entire way the engine would knock randomly and when i would stop the knock would go away for a few seconds, then start back up again slowly then start bein sparratic again...

Re: Engine Problems
Well, looks like too much soil deposits on the gas tank. When the car sits for a while the dirt on the tanks tend to rest on the bottom, and might clogg momentarily the fuel lines/filter when the engine is started causing the hesitation U experienced. Just fill her up and add a fuel injector cleaner, tell me what happens.

Re: Engine Problems
that might be the cause of the underpowered portion of it, but not the excessive sparratic engine knock...and the fact that sometimes when i would start up the car felt like it shuddered (well...that could be the clogging part of it) but anyway...i dont think its just because of the fuel lines bein clogged...
