Car Dying out...
Hi
I know this question has been posted before, but I cant find where, but anyway just the other day on my way home from work, while waiting for the light to change my car was in nuetral and it just turned off. It took a while before starting up again, the guy i brought the car from, told me that somtimes if it get hot it shuts down but thats because of the relay or start sensor, which I have the starter relay but I just need to know where does it go, but first tell me what do you guys think can be the problem. I just got the car a few weeks ago, so Im still getting familiar with the car, I do need to give it a tune up also, I noticed sometimes the car idels a bit rough causing the car to shake more than normal. Re: Car Dying out...
I'm having the same problem. Classic stuff to check; the main relay, the igniter, the coil, fuel pump, etc. GL

Yup, check here....
Here you go... You have to take your fuse panel door, the hood release, and coin box off. It's a tight fit but you can get at the bolt holding the relay and you can then disconnect the plug. It's usually easy to find a spare at the junkyard or you can get one at the dealer. GL |

BTW, the loopy idle might be caused by your Electronic Air Control Valve (EACV). It's mounted to the intake manifold and regulates you idle, there is an internal passage that may be clogged or the control mechanism is sticky.
