95 contour transmission trouble

Hello. I have a '95 contour and the transmission is giving me trouble. It seems to constantly upshift and downshift as I am driving it down the highway. I changed the transmission fluid and it did not seem to smell "burnt" and it looked fine with no metal shavings. It did not really seem to help changing it. In fact lately it has been getting worse. It has about 85k miles on it. Could anyone give me a tip as to what could be wrong? Or is my transmission just screwed? Thanks.

I don't know about the contour specificly but most newer auto's have an electric module that controls shifting if it's not slipping I'd check into that.
