Piston rings or what!?!?

Hey guys mi knew the Honda import world. I just bough this Integra at auction for 650. So yesterday I did basic maintance like oil change, check fluids and so on. But when I change the park plugs all of them had oil near the bottom threads and the tips where black. So I wondering cold all the piston rings be bad. And if so could I do a compresson check just to sure the are all bad before I buy another engine.

Integra 91 LS
Miles 125,867
Thanks,

Your rings are worn, and I wouldnt be running it up that high with the rings like that, unless you have the money for a swap or rebuild laying around. It sounds like they are just starting to go but still their going.

Same thing happened to you too! Yeah I know I should not be reving that high but this guy has an LS 91 for 400$ w/ 70k miles. I just wanted to make sure before I get the engine.
