Screen for Mesh?

Is screen(from backyard doors) good to use as mesh for 1/24 cars? I was thinking of getting some and spray silver! If anyone uses it let me know!

Re: Screen for Mesh?

If you find a small enough mesh, yes. As long as it appears in scale, its good, right? Be careful, though, there are many different sizes of screen, composed of different size wires and with different size spacing, and things often look right in the store but not when you get it home. As dorky as you might feel, take the car body with you to the store, and compare that way. I know I've taken model cars in some weird places looking for parts....
