95 Aurora Electrical Problems

Hi All:
I thought I was doing somthing nice for my son when I bought him a 95 Aurora. All we have is alot of electrical problems. I have read some of the posts that have the simular problems but no one claims that the problem has been corrected.

The problem is that every time we turn the headlights on either by the sentinal or the stick, the dash lights go out. We changed the sential control and that didn't work. but the sentinal smells burnt. If I could find an electrical diagram Im pretty sure I could fix it.

Can anyone offer any help?
