Re: Any Toyota 22R drag racers out there?

I don't race a 22r yet, but am in the process of building an 87 toyota pickup and plan to run a 22r in it. My goal is to run in the 11's with it. I don't quite know how long it will take to complete cause i am doin the work myself but the truck is goin to be all business.

Question for Rob Rev. what kind of horsepower you putting down with the lcengineering 22r?

For the OP...man those slicks are saving your ass big time. I think lostnhre has the right idea, boost that bitch.

EDIT: Wow, old post, me bad. Good job on the new times.

I have spiked over 30lbs with a manual controller, I just switched to a profic B. I'm hoping that will let me hold a steady 30lbs. I'm really surprised on how much these engines can handle.

The irony of such is that for some Toyotas, *coughmkivsupracough*, 30psi is low boost.
