Going by what this auction says, this shifter may reduce the throw by 80%? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...473148132&rd=1
I've never seen this shifter before on ebay, so it surpised me. I bought this shifter before: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...474020563&rd=1 And it's excellent, however this new one reports even greater gains. Just wondering if anyone has heard of it and better yet used it. Also whats the deal with bushings? Metal or polyurthane? Right now in my Eclipse I'm using the Energy Suspension Polyurethane ones and I noticed a huge difference. But never tried the others, so curious. These two things would go into another Eclipse, so not replacing my stuff if anyones wondering or confused.

Re: Pacesettler Short Shifter and Which Bushings Would You Use?
Metal. I am getting the symbroski shift kit, it seems that people like that better.

80%? Jesus... the best (B&M) shifters reduce 35% or 50%.

But I dunno if B&M is the best, there was a thread on this before and a couple guys seemed to dislike it; however I do know it's the most expensive.
