i have a question...

is it ok to mount the bumpers and putty them to the body instead of attaching the bumpers to the chassis?

There maybe a little modification for everything. I know the seats have seat brackets though, so Im not really sure whats really involved. Im betting there will be needed modifications.

You will need to paint the brake calipers, and seats.

Don't paint it Electron Blue Pearl. Those get stolen.

That last one is exactly why I keep creating...I am soo broke, but in my head, that s2k or supra or whatever becomes my imaginary dream car and I can 'order' it just the way I want it...nothing is too expensive for the imaginary 1/24 version of myself..

heheh sorry so cheesy

It's a pretty easy kit to build up. The only thing to watch for is the fit of the "glass" for the side, rear passenger windows. It's supposed to just snap into place but it's VERY tight! Be careful and try not to allow too much paint to build up in that area.
I just did mine up box stock and lowered it a bit, added a SAS wing and other minor details. Paint colors are from House Of Kolor - Tangelo Pearl with Sunrise Pearl faded along the bottom edge. Here's a few pics:
