Audio Problem 1999 Carmy cd player

My 1999 carmy cd player got problems. When I insert a cd, it continous skips and then eject the cd. what is the problem? I really appricate the helps.

Mine has the same problem.The only thing I have found that helps is a CD cleaner.But even this don't last long.

Thank u Joe. I want to get a new cd player to replace the old one. But could u tell me how can I take the old one out?

If you pop off the trim around the radio there will be 4 bolts to remove it.
