my kill last nite

i raced with a acura v6 which look like the old one like 89 maybe i was suprized because it was a v6 and an acura

i have a standard 92 nissan 1.6l and i would have to guess the acura was a an auto

i had a 1/4 to 1/3 lead on him the whole way down and he let off i was asking to my brother do you really think he was tryin
my sentra is all stock and his acura appeared to be stock i had two people he had 1 passenger

also i just changed my oil/oil filter that morning and i was workin the clutch

just cant wait till i get my sr20det im canceling my insurance and gettin a 12 speed bicycle in order to save up im 18yrs old

right now im payin 200month on insurance plus gas i only have a part time job so im takin a brake to save up i plan on saying until i can buy the sr20det plus get a centerforce cluth while i have the engine out

maybe exhaust and paint too but while see how things go oh also carbon fiber hood and light rims wow thats gonna take a nice little chunk of money but im willing to sacrifice in order to get it

i just took a hacksaw to my stick shift and converted it into a short shifter looks a lot more sporty and does seem to shift a tiny tiny tiny bit better

lol, just get a ebay short shiter for $10. they look like an inch shorter when installed and actually throw the shift a bit shorter...worth $10 IMO

wait a sec the ones on ebay only shorten the stick an inch or two right now with my homemade mods my stick is about 2inchs in height is this too short or as long as i adapt to it and learn to use it well its cool let me know imma take a pic

Just so you know, short shifters don't just make the shifter shorter. By "short", they mean the throw, not the height. A short shifter changes up the leverage so your hand only moves a few inches when switching gears, it doesn't lower the height of the shifter much at all.

A true short shifter uses an adapter under the shifter, it changes the geometry of the throw. A shortened shifter is only part of it.

oh ok i see thank ya shortydrop imma look into buying a real shifter later on down when i get the rest of my professional gear i wont use this riged thing on my sr20det when i finially get it
