Re: better intake? short arm or other?

Short Ram or Cold air? I would say the CAI would be the best. Short Ram is also known as the WAI, or Warm air intake. The CAI wouldbe the best as it draws the air directly from outside of the engine bay, therefore the intake manifld see's slightly lower air temps which also means more dense air. The denser the better.

Re: better intake? short arm or other?

i have a short ram K&N Typoon intake on my car, but most of the other CAI lead all the way to the front bumper right underneith the headlight. most are injen CAI's. is that really a good way to improve performance.

Cold air with the fake vents underneath the turn signals cut out will give you the best gains.
