About a year ago there was a guy who put one into his 02 civic and it cost him around 10gs+. not the kinda price i would be wiling to spend.

I asked a couple of months ago in a shop near where I live. Engine is around $5000, mounts around $600 and total "ESTIMATED" cost with installation was around $7000...give or take a couple of hundred dollars.

Ace$nyper is right...K20 swap for now is expensive. Wait till it gets cheaper in a couple of years. The K20's are "kinda" new to the market anyways just like the 7th gen civics. B-series are somewhat cheaper becuase they have been around for quite some time compared to the K20's.

Yea, everything gets cheaper with time. As more and more wrecked cars with K20's go into junk yards here and in Japan, the price will start to drop most likely as well.
