Simple question on stock motor

I usually hang out in the prelude forum, but i wanted to know what stock motors that the accord 92-96 i think came with. I know one was the 2.2 VTEC, as in the prelude, but was the 2.3 H23A also an option? Thanks for help.

KMS (Honda-performance.com) Camshafts, Valve springs, and Retainers
Skunk2 adjustable cam gears

Wish me luck on this project, something always seems to go wrong.

Re: Simple question on stock motor

none of the 92-96 come with the 2.2L VTEC that is in the prelude, at least no state side.

90-93 Accords came with the f22a1/f22a4/and f22a6 which are all non-vtec, all SOHC.

94-97 Accords came with the f22b1 (vtec sohc), and the f22b2 (non-vtech sohc).

The h22 motor will fit however, in any 90-97 Accord with few modifications, since like I said before, the h22a (dohc vtec prelude motor) was included in some JDM and European market accords.

H23 will also fit, but is less commonly swapped due to lower HP output.
