Scion tC

The Scion tc is almost out, i think it'll own the civic SI in sales, i think its a amazing car, it weights around 2900 (which is pretty heavy) and it uses the 2.4 liter engine from the 4 banger Camry, it puts out 160hp with 163 torque.... i think the only competition it really has is the Mazda 3 and the Nissan SE-R, the Civic SI doesn't sell well (because at 2 honda dealers i went to, they dropped the sticker price down to $16,000/$17,000
the msrp will be
Manual $16,465
Automatic $17,265

Re: Scion tC

I definitely like the looks. Kinda reminds be of an RSX with the Tires pushed towards the front and rear. Looks kinda long and wide. Its a big car. Might be better with a V6 but that wouldn't be Economic then would it?

Accords may be in trouble as well. http://galeforcecreations.com/auto

The quality of these Scions are the real selling point. The level of quality on the new tC is equal to that of Honda. It will definalty smoke Civics, no doubt, but don't under estimate TRD's abiltity to deliver as advertized.

The TC is Friggin awesome...no question about it. With the optional TRD supercharger this car will own. Standard equip. is amazing, and have you seen the friggin moonroof. OMG!! It's really nice. If I didn't have a Wife who dislikes coupes I would have waited and bought one!!

Re: Scion tC

Not a bad car at all to look into. Plus it comes with a Pioneer Stereo and two moonroofs. I may get one since my Subaru has so many problems. I may look at one when it comes out this June.

Re: Scion tC

I checked out a Scion dealer yesterday and they said that The tc will a an option from TRD that it will come with 19 inch rims a better suspension package and a supercharger that will give a maximum of 200 hp. And they will also have 40 different accesories for this car.

i think thats the #1 car on my list to buy right now, its one step up from my accord, it has the same engine as the camry, and of course toyotas proven resale value and reliability, also for such a low price (yes u can actually just add one option and buy the car) also with 2 sunroofs, and a hatch style (much like the rsx) its a great car for the price, just waiting to test drive it this month hopefully

Re: Scion tC

I'm definitely getting one. It's still tough, but I get any car under 20 grand but it's leaning towards the tC but of course, I will get the supercharge on it. Why don't they have a turbo, freakin' sux! STill under 20 grand actually, talked to the Toyota guy all about it. Looks sweet and I get to test drive one soon with the supercharger, the manager said when the 1st one came in he'd get that done and only he would supervise test drives.

Re: Scion tC

i think it'd be better to skimp out on the supercharger and go turbo....unless u want some "right now" power

i though about the tC...but changed my mind b/c i still want a xB
