I bought a Chevy Venture 97, but the previous owner lost the remote. He just told me is a Surestart remote, 2 buttons, lock/unlock doors and starts the engine. He was firm about that. He even described the remote to me.
Question: Is it possible for a 2 buttons remote to have engine start feature? I saw the one GM dealer showed me and the buttons are Lock and Unlock. |

Re: Remote for Venture 97
Sounds like an aftermarket remote car starter. Do a google search on "Surestart starters", and a few web pages will pop up for you. No, I don't believe that the '97 had a stock remote starter option. Mine only has the lock and unlock button., but I want an automatic remote starter for my van. She'd like that with these North Dakota winters up here.
