New 200SX owner
Hi everyone, I just bought a 96 200sx, and over spring break, me and my friend have been workin on the audio aspects of the car, (very low budget mind you haha). I was wondering, what are some other upgrades I should consider. I want to buy a body kit, and maybe work on the cars HP. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance |

Re: New 200SX owner
if you want performance don't buy a bodykit they only add weight.

I also have a 96 200sx. I have not done much modding to it yet. I have done headlights, tint, lowering, filter, Z32 (300zx twin turbo) fuel filter, Cdplayer, and Viper alarm. I would reccomend what I am doing with the performence. SR20DET Bluebird Swap. Or if you can find a good deal on a GTI-R do that swap. Very good engine for this car. GTI-R has T28 ballbearing turbo and individual throttle bodies where as the Bluebird has a T25 and 1 throttle body. You will need an exhaust for the engines though. I would also recommend lowering it for better handeling. I think mine looks pretty good for looks. I would say don't do a body kit. They are ugly and ricey. Thats just my opinion though. Also some nicer headlights and clear corners would look good on it too. Ill send you osme pics of mine if you want. Also try looking at nissanperformancemag.com. Then go to project 200sx. It is a B14 also. They have some good idea's on it.
