94 Caravan Strut Replacement

How hard is the strut replacement? I know you have to remove the camber bolts, and of course I would need an alignment. I have an air gun and compressor and a fair amount of auto knowledge. I just have never done this before. Should I take this on?!?!

Re: 94 Caravan Strut Replacement

It's a possible job. The only other thing you'll need is a spring compresser and some patience. The nut to the top of the strut mount might give you some trouble, but that's about it. I did it this last fall, and it went smoothly.

Not too hard it is fairly striaght forward and you ready know that you will need a realignment after. You can rent spring compressers at at a rental center also jack stands or ramps would be good as well. On the top nut spray some liquid wrench and let it sit for an hour or so before starting. Ride On, digimon
