I am not quite sure what you are talking about. You dont need to remove that to install those STUPID tail lights that will most likely fog up and already make your car look like CRAP.

But if YOU MUST ruin your car then they are a direct replacement. When you open your trunk there are bolts holding the nicelooking stock tails in place. Just remove those and remove the harnesses and replace them with those HORRID tails you bought...

Well from what I have seen most civics have the clear headlights and the original taillights, is that the way to go?

Re: Removing blk middle panel...

clear headlights? or do you mean hyperwhite or something.. Sylvania Silverstar or PIAA headlight bulbs, and stock tail lights are the non-ricey way to go man. Please don't jump on the altezza bandwagon that we've all grown to hate. If you want to hook up your tails to look better than altezzas you could buy a can of Nightshads blackout spray and spray the red part of them black. It's a transparent black spray, dark at day and light shines through at night.

Wow its amazing to me, I havent posted here in forever and when I last posted not that long ago, I was getting flamed for making fun of people with Altezzas.

Is there a revolution going on?

Gee, I didnt know that so many of you guys hated those clear euro taillights. I guess I'll just go with the clear headlights then, and yeah I mean the hyperwhite lights or projections lights. Now sure what they call them, but thanks for the feedback.

But no one has answered my question, can I remove the middle black panel between the taillights?

hmm i've never heard anyone complain about projectors before... as a matter of fact many members have them... and if you hate projectors so much i guess you also hate many new cars... cuz thats about all you'll get nowadays on a vehicle. cept for HID but even HID still uses about the same style houseing as projectors.

Projectors on a civic look stupid. It looks like little aliens sticking out of the headlights.

I think my HIDS look fine and they dont use projectirs

You dont NEED projectors for HIDs thats a common misconception. If you purchases a plug and play kit with built in shields you dont need the projector...

Re: Removing blk middle panel...

They do kinda look like bugeyes I guess, but I've only seen one other Civic in the entire city of Columbus with them. Everybody always compliments me on how good they look, and I like them too, so originality + good looks sounds cool with me... but I'd still rather have some nice ctr headlights above anything, no matter how many other people already have them.
