STILL the vitara is "Gasping"

Notice only lightly blue but getting darker

Hi whoever is out there.

Vitara Petrol (16 valve injection) still will only starts & not run for more than few seconds on tick over. Yes! put my hand in the pocket to get it plugged in? Result (yes you know the answer) nothing showed up. Next step, go to M.A F. sensor. Reading other problems with different makes it always comes down to this. Is there a way of testing before digging deeper into the pocket?

This is starting to be a match dropped into the fuel tank!! A shame really as I liked driving it ounce. It has been a long time so I can soon forget?? Seriously! I would really like to get the car back into work but if the main squealers cant help where are we going to go?

try changing the fuel filter, it could be that its not working properly, they costt about £6.00 to buy from a zooki dealer and take about 10mins to change (a few jubilie clips, a couple of tubes and a couple bolts... that may solve your problem
