HELP! Smoke!! Yikes!!!
Ok...so I'm driving to work today and...I go to flick my heater on...10 seconds later..."sniff, sniff, what that smell"?....SMOKE starting coming out from under my dash!!!
WTF!! Shut off the heater immediately and it stopped but...geezuz...now I have no heater? HELP!!! Jason

It's something to do with the blower...because that no longer works...and the smoke stank to high heaven! Any suggestions? it was a fun drive home from work with no heat and freezing rain...

I had to replace my ignition switch ($50 form AutoZone).
My blower would work somtimes and other times it wouldn't. If I wiggled the ignition switch I could get it to work. And yes I got a BLAST of smoke from the dash panel -that is when I replaced the switch. There is also an old thread on this same subject.(Smoke????) |
