Hayabusa or 999R

Does anyone know which one is faster, the Hayabusa or Ducati 999R?

Hayabusa has to be faster but the 999r would keep up real good

The busa is faster for sure. I4 vs. VTwin its a given. The 999r will pull hard but will be taken in the end.

You have to be fucking kidding me? This is a dumb topic. The Hayabusa is a super touring bike as opposed to the more focused track bike the 999R is. If you want to know in terms of top speed, of course the Hayabusa because it was made to be the fastest production bike for consumers. Of course the 999 F04 can reach 190+ mph but that is a racebike as opposed to the consumer 999R.

Which is faster at what?

A Busa will be faster in the 1/4 mile and top speed. But equal riders on the track the 999R will probably take the crown.

Now, I don't know too much about the Hayabusas but I heard that the older models are faster than the new ones. Is this right? What year Hayabusa is the fastest? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just know a little bit more about Ducati than Suzuki.

Technically yes.. They had a higher top end. They put a cap on them so they wont go over 184 or something around there. Its a ECU thing, which as we all know "can be fixed"

Racing Rice...... there was a post that was deleted right below yours and it was "GET RICH QUICK" scheme. Thats what I was reffering too. LOL.

But yes your right the 99-00 busa is unrestricted and the newer ones are 186 limit but like you said fixed in a second.
