Re: AC question
Does your car have the electonic climate control? I was wondering if the problem could be simple - passenger temp setting vs. driver temp setting.
As your car is making cold air it would seem the larger problem is solved, which is good. Let us know what you find. |

Re: AC question
All i know is that when i turn on my ac the light will start to flash and then turn off, sometimes when it stays on only cold air comes out through the left side. I'm going to go get it checked out in a couple of weeks.

My wife's Intrigue is having the same problem with the vents on the driver side not blowing cold air. I found this page about a possible solution:

Re: AC question
Well I guess I know my problem now. Maby I should see about getting a new control head. I also was thinking. If I took apart my dash, and took off the doors that are suppost to allow the cold air to come thru would that work. Or would that mess up my heater.

A/C light
My A/C does the same thing. Especially when I accelerate. I have to keep pushing the A/C button, but the light and A/C shut off regardless. I clicked the above link, and I was wondering if anyone had any input on this, and also if anyone knew where I could get a head unit other than at a dealership. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the electronic display head unit. But I wanted to know if there was anyway I could put one in. The part number is 9352033. But I wanted to see if it would fit or is compatable before I purchase it. I got a 00 3.5L. Any input would be greatly appreciated....

Yea I saw that one, but I'm not sure if it would fit. The head unit on ebay has the harness plugging into the side. My current one has 2 harnesses that plug into the middle, I think. I don't want to get it if it doesn't fit.

Re: AC question
Hi
sorry to be so slow on your reply. My comment about your "larger issue" being solved was simply that your A/C compressor and other components appear functional. It is air delivery that is the problem. I have not dealt with this problem. Yet. I'm glad another reader found some info for you. Mel |

Re: AC question
Ya my head unit has 2 harness plugs also. Does anyone know of an electronic display head unit with 2 harness plugs that will work in my 2000 intrigue.

I have a 98 Intrigue that has the electronic display and it only has one plug in. I needed a new one and thought maybe the cheaper non-digital one would be a better choice, but after seeing the cheaper one on ebay and noticing the different plug-ins decided not to get it. So in my own opinion, I think it will not work. |
