Weird Noise... Easy Fix?

Alright, my guess is the belt slipping but I don't know for sure. I can be driving and just push in the clutch rev it up then pop the clutch and I hear a squeling type noise from the engine compartment. Is that normal or do I need to replace something?

i'm guessing that the rivets in your clutch disk have begun to rub either on the pressure plate or the flywheel. a result of excessive clutch wear.

but as is frequently stated here, it's extremely difficult to diagnose sound-based complaints without actually hearing that sound.

could also be a loose belt out front... who knows. retention your accessory belts and see if it goes away. if it doesn't, yank your tranny and check the clutch.
