How hard is it to drop a CRV block into my 92 Civic hatch? From a few people I've heard that its a pain but from others I've heard it bolts right in...Whos right or closer to the truth?

its the same like dropping in any other b series block into a civic. they are the same size as a b18, they just have a bigger bore.

if you have a b series swap than it wont be too hard. if you have a d series than thats a whole different story. i suggest you search.

My hatch came stock with a b16 so it should bolt right in...right?

outside the engines are physically the same so yeah im pretty sure. the only reason its a 1.6 instead of 1.8 is because of the crank....

Damn, do you people just spout shit out without know what you're talking about? The B16A's, B18B/C's, and B20B/Z, are more different than just fucking crank. The B18/B20 have a taller deck height than the B16A, so no, they aren't the same on the outside. An on the inside, jesus don't get me started, the B20B/Z have a 84mm bore, well the B16/18's have a 81mm bore, the strokes are completely different, cranks and rods are different sizes, and so forth and so forth...
