should park release when put in drive? 1986 sable
in reverse the parking brake will hold, but when you put the car in drive,
it automatically releases,should the parking brake to do this, or not. thanks for any info. 1986 sable glen bransfield houston tx [email protected]

yes.
This has since been changed. I kinda miss that "feature". I had a 94 wagon that would do great rockfords that way. I wish my 97 would!
