Horesepower&Torque stock listings
hey again,,,local dealerships could not answer this for me so maybe ya'll can...I have a 1996 chevy silverado, c1500 ,extended cab ,short bed with a vortec 5000 5.0 liter (305ci) v-8 engine. where can I find a listing or statement of the different horspowers at rpm's and torque at the rear wheels at? I think I remember hearing 225HP before when I bought it but I have no idea really. fixing to put some "stuff" on it that should increase performance, and needed a base line to start at before geting it dynoed...help anyone?

The factory rating for hp at the flywheel was like 220HP or 230HP for the 305. I just say go ahead and get it dynoed and see what it has!
