ghetto mods

post any ghetto mods you have put on your car, mine would have to be my fake intake which is a stock 03 neon cone air filter attached to the end of my stock air tube but hey it gave me a little extra hp and it gave me the sweet deep intake sound what else can you do when you have no money?

Re: ghetto mods

my brother did that for a temporary thing but then he bought an aem cold air intake system. a ghetto thing i see is when people put those bolt on exhaust tips, they do nothing for your car.

Re: ghetto mods

uh.. white fuzzy dice-even though i think they are hella mad tyte..oh and i got the cone filter, but whatever, its better then the box. AND IM NOT SPENDING $100 for PVC pipes, just for a "cold air" intake. Oh yeah, how about a JVC Casette AM/FM Head unit from the early 90's? lol..actually, now that i think about it, my whole car is ghetto..lol

My dices are the SHIT!

Re: ghetto mods

most ghetto mod i have seen on a car...

a kid at my school has a green mini-van
he then decided it would be a good idea to attach fake plastic spinners only to his front tires...you needed to see them
it was the definition of G-H-E-T-T-O

Re: ghetto mods

On my 86 cutlass (sold it a couple years back) i had some $8 blue lights from pep boys I put under the car for ghetto ground effects.

Cherry bomb muffler, and sometimes I would disconnect the exhaust pipe in front of the cat for ultra loudness. hahah high school was fun.

Re: ghetto mods

fake BOV's, really loud abnoxious fart cans (I like nice sounding ones, but they are few and far between), stickers saying whats 'in' your car (are they paying you? no, so STFU), Neons that flash to the beat, hub-cap spinners (Available at your local Canadian Tire ), putting guages on your car when you obviously have nothing under the hood (do you REALLY need to know the temperature outside, atmosphereic pressure and relative humidity while driving your bone stock Neon?), Rust, and finally: HUGE metal obstrocities on the trunk of your FRONT wheel drive car... cuz you need downforce.... right?

LOL!! I just saw the t-shirt seat covers while sitting on 10" spinner hub caps. He kept it clean though!! Doesn't get any ghetto than that. Oh yeah... I saw a green Jeep Wrangler lowered with 13" Daytons with white wall tires.
