Talking wants some more power from my 455 HO

I have a 68 gto with the crome bumper option on it, an M21 tranny, and i dropped in a 455 HO off of a 72 firebird. Right now, the engine is fast as hell for a street car but I don't want it too be fast as hell, I want it to be uncontrollably fast. I am going to pull the engine out soon and would like to get over 650 hp to the wheels. i would love to get into the 800s but i don't know how hard that will be. I am wondering if anyone has built up this type of engine before and if they has some suggestions on parts and ways to get the power that high. If i could choose, i would like to keep it N.A. Can anyone give me some help??

The current "high end" leader in Pontiac power is Kaufman Racing in Ohio. "krepower.com"
There are many other Pontiac shops that build engines at this level, ours included (Central Virginia Machine). You should have no trouble finding a good shop to take your money. Be sure you have plenty! Building ANY engine to this level will be expensive, regardless of brand.

Wow! 650 at the rear wheels, that's over 780 at the crankshaft, I agree it can be done, but be prepared to build the rest of the drivetrain around those ponies.
