Cleaning Exhaust tips/New steering controls

First of all guys, I wanna thank you again for the advice on my aurora that was hesitating. Had the plugs and wires changed w/ ac delco and its running great. However it idles slightly higher than before and I dont like this, has anyone had this problem. Other than that im happy. Also my exhaust tips are black and cruddy, is there anything I could do to clean them up or should I just replace them w/ chrome??? Also my steering controls are a little scratched where can i get some new ones??????

Re: Cleaning Exhaust tips/New steering controls

There's a way to calibrate the idle speed - a search of the forum should find that.
Everyone has cruddy tailpipes - you could try wire brushing it and using chrome polish - that would have to be a regular thing though.
If you're really rich you could try an Oldsmobile dealer for the steering wheel controls - otherwise try ebay.

Re: Cleaning Exhaust tips/New steering controls

Could buy a Corsa exhaust (http://www.corsaperf.com - look at their Caddy STS package) - comes with new chrome tips. That's what I'm going to do (make the final payment on my '98 on Wednesday - yee ha!
