Question help!

ok, heres the thing, today i was driving my car when it practically lost all power and i started smelling exaust in the driver seat. i manngaed to take it to a mechanic who later told me i needed a new downpipe, catalytic converter, and an O2 sensor. what im woundering is, is there any second hand places you could point me to. im asking this because i was quoted $650canadian for a downpipe without labour. As for the catalytic converter, they quoted me $300cdn, and for the O2 sensor $350 cdn. do these prices sound correct or am i being ripped off? thanks alot

Re: help!

Not sure what year vehicle you have, but there's always eBay...as always, be cautious with eBay sales, not every seller is reputable.

Re: help!

I took my Jetta to the VW dealer and he told me that a Catalayic Converter would cost me between $1500 and $3500 (USD). $300 CDN sounds good to me! lol
