zc swap in 90 crx hf

Anybody done this swap? Japan star motors is advertising motor, ecu, wire harness, and more for $600. Free shipping. Is this pretty much a plug and play swap? What other kind of fabrication if any is involved. Also, If I were to go on with the swap, Say I go into an auto parts store and need spark plugs and wires, what kind of car/ engine would I tell them? I'm new to the swap thing as you all can probably tell. I'm just trying to touch all the basics before I go through with this. Any information or tips I would greatly appreciate.

600 seems very fair. Well is it plug and play... yes and no. You can use your stock motor mounts and you already have mpfi so that part is easy, but I strongly suggest upgrading to an si transmission otherwise you'll want to pull your hair out. As for plugs and wires I believe that you'd go with si plugs and wires... anyone else have any thoughts?

i have the 89 zc in my 89 std. hatch. go to Fourthgenhatch.com for the parts list. or http://www.dmoore.com/crx

That's not a bad price i'd get the SI tranny like slow said. or you can get the ZC from Hmotorsonline.com for like $150
