brake lights

i have 82 camero v6.
how do i change the brake lights? i cant get to the light bulbs!

Take the very back plastic panel off with the big plastic screws, then if you look behind the panel, you'l see a bunch of big black knobs (six per taillight) screw them off with your fingers (or a pair of pliers if theyre tight) and pull your taillight assembly away from the car, There ya have it!

Oh, and there are six of these per side, but each side has one in the far corner that you have to reach behind the side panels for.. Unless you pull the side panels off too, but thats Way to much work!

oh and just to clarify, by very back of the car, he means inside it, in the trunk, pull off the plastic trim peice across the back of the trunk that covers the hatch pull down. and youll see the black wingnuts.

lmao!!!!! the rear hatch area is actually correct wouldnt it be? oh and the first and second gen camaros did have trunks, its the third and fourth gens that got hatchbacks
