4. Distributor rewiring. The lines for the distributor’s 7 wire plug can be pulled on both the engine harnesses. Pull the gray OBD1 7 wire plug for the distributor off the OBD1 engine harness and the replace the 7 wire plug on the OBD0 harness with it. Make sure to match the wires coming from the distributor with the matching colors being put into the 7 wire plug. As for the 2 wire plug, the plug had to be cut off the OBD0 harness and OBD1 plug spliced on.

Re: OBDO to OBD1 Distributor Color Wiring,HELP!!

ok.....
if you look at ur stock wiring harness, there are 2 white wires. You have to look extremely closely to notice this but one of those white wires is bigger/fatter than the other. This fatter white wire goes to the yellow/green wire on the obd1 dizzy. The thinner white wire goes to the white wire on the obd1 dizzy.

Thanks BAm BAm i know exactly which wires you are talking about the fatter white wire goes to the green/yellow and the other 2 white go together(hope this works). BTW would you happen to know what other plugs i need to change? also i heard that i can use my resistor box with the obd1 injector plugs(i already shaved off the plastic little pieces that stopped the obd1 injectors from fitting into the obdo injector plugs).

Re: OBDO to OBD1 Distributor Color Wiring,HELP!!

you have to go obd1 dist. there should only be 2 white wires. 1 goes the obd1 white wire and the other goes to the obd1 yel/grn. idk what your talking aobut a 3rd white wire for. did you match up all the other wires, color for color ?

if you go with obd1 injectors then you dont use the resistor box. if you want to use obd1 injectors, take the power wire for the resistor box and run the power wires from each injector and tie them into the power wire for the resistor box. this eliminates the resistor box and correctly wires your injectors

Re: OBDO to OBD1 Distributor Color Wiring,HELP!!

also, you can't use an obd1 distributor unless you convert to obd1 and use an obd1 ecu.
