Cool Supercharging a 95 park

I have a regular 95 Park Ave which had the 3.8 K series in it. I am strongly thinking about replacing it with a 1996 Riviera 3.8 Supercharged I series engine. Does anyone know if there are any problems doing this and will the 95 accessories like the engine mounts, AC unit, PS, etc. mount up on the 96 engine? Thanks, Lance

aarcuda. Do you really have a Cuda. I restore early mustangs. 69-73. Did a 69 Mach and am working on a 71 Mach. I am working with a tech a the local Buick dealer who is selling me the 96 SC and trans plus harness and computer. I will let you know how it turns out.

Hey Lance,

A regular in one of the other forums I follow has done what you're asking about. He swapped in a 3800SC into a '91 Park Avenue. Here's his website: http://tyre.serveftp.com/supercharged_parkavenue/

Hope this helps!
Jonathan

Re: Supercharging a 95 park

Oh darn! After installing the 96 in the 96 Park I found out the blower has bad bearings and I could not get the motor to run right because it is a different computer. I rebuilt the 95 3800 K series myself and she is ready for another 280k miles. Did not like doing the torque plus degrees you have to do on 80% of the bolts, give me a straight torque anyday. Lance
