Keyless Remotes for 98' Blazer

When I changed the batteries in both my remotes, (one of them needed the battery clip that had come lose, resoddered back on) my keyless entry quit working. I tried the instructions on the backs of the remotes to reprogram and it didn't work. So is their something else I can try with the reciever under the dash? thanks

Just a tip that may save you some time in the future..... Try doing a search for your problem or question before you post....

UMMM yeah I took your advice and it didn't work. I new it wouldn't be simple that's why I wrote this thread. If anyone has any real advice as to why my remotes with new batteries will not reprogram please let me know. I am stuck and have ben considering purchasing new remotes, bur I don't think that would solve my problem
thanks whomever,

I actually used this method a week ago. I gave up the first time because I thought it didn't work. I then decided to hold down the lock/unlock buttons for a longer period of time and "presto". It seemed like a couple of minutes so give it a while longer and see if it works. Just a thought.
