integra legend motor swap

is it possible to swap an 88 legend v6 into an 87 integra rs. a friend of mine totalled his legend and insurance is only asking $130 for whole car and still runs fine so i was wondering if i could put it in my integra. i would greatly apreciate some help here

Are the Legends front or rear wheel drive?

the legend is front wheel drive and the haynes manual i have has both vehicles in the same book if it wont bolt up i guess i could just fabricate new mounts but it would take some serious work

That does sound pretty tight. Do you know if the wheelbase is the same? If not the axles will be too long and there would be some more fabrication taking place
