anyone have a Torque Wrench and a V6?

Hey, I drive a 2003 GS, and I recently ordered the Front strut tower brace installation parts from Mitsubishi, considering the fact that it's manufacturer parts, i don't think there will be any instructions, if anyone who drives a V6 could use a torque wrench, or just happens to know, could tell me what ft-lbs the bolts are all set @ on the front brace? i'm not 100% sure how many bolts there are, i know there are a few where the brace connects to the firewall, and 3 possibly 4 on each strut tower. Thanks alot guys!

I just purchased the Rear Strut Tower Brace from road race engineering and they want you to torque it in @ 32 ft-lbs, so i am assuming the front should also be torqued.

I really never worried about it. I'm sure every nut and bolt has a specification, but things like that, its pretty much the tighter the better.

I can tell you, I have taken mine off countless times, aloing with many other of my fellow Club3G people. Not one of us has ever torqued it to specification and we have never had an issue.

haha, i do that shit all the time, but it's always so long in between working on different things that i forget. i wrecked a door frame once, a cheapy cabinet from a build it yourself place called furnakit (not sure if anyone else is familiar with them) oh man, but i think now that i've wrecked something that i had to pay for, i've finally learned. lol. sadly enough

Yeah I'm with Rulez, I have put on/taken off 2 front strut bars and one rear, and never bothered with a torque wrench.
