question
can you get the oil pan off with the engine still in the car,how hard would it be to pull the engine.
im 16 and could get a friend to help im just wondering if it is hard or not, me and my friend have pulled an engine on a mazda b2200,were both in auto tech we know a little about cars. i have a vw gti 16v dohc and we pulled the head replaced the head gasket and put it to gether it runs but i found out it needs lower end work |

Well to quote my most said phrase, "If you have to ask it's probably to hard for you", but since your in auto mech and have pulled one engine before I have complete confidence that you can do it. The oil pan can not be pulled off while the engine is in the car, pulling the engine isn't difficult, just don't forget to label all the connectors, bag and label all the bolts, follow the TSRM, and you'll be fine.

my friend has access to a engine lift and has a engine stand are there any pointers i should know about?if there are any thing i can do to make it easier on us, please tell me. |

The TSRM is your Supra bible, if it tells you to do something then you should probably do it. There is a guide to swapping the HG in it, a simple search for "tsrm" on this site would have led to this address...
