CODE 4: Crank angle sensor
okay about 2 days ago, i was replacing my distributor seal and timing belt. Well anyway i did that and when i starter er up. It idles really bad and sometimes dies. But when i rev it it wont go past 3-3500 grand. When i get there its weird it almost like bogs down like its a limiter or somethin. It only does it when it throws a code.
I can be driving and if i click the key of and back on and pop start the engine the code may not come back on or it will, otherwise it drives fine when not throwing code besides a ruff idle. Can anyone thats had this problem or had any sugguestions give me some input? Thanks |

Re: CODE 4: Crank angle sensor
the sensor is inside the dizzy.....so you got a bad dizzy.....or bad ecu....I would assume bad dizzy.....or if you have done the MPFI conversion....one of your wires could have come loose.
