this really erks me!

i hate it when its really pouring rain, and your driving like 5 or 10 under the speed limit so as not to kill yourself,or anyone else for that matter, and some ricy little f*** pulls up beside you revs,(with his weed wacker muffler sounding off way too loud) then takes off ( prolly thinking" wow i just smooked that chick in that neon chicks cant drive worth s***") its people like that that really piss me off, now where are the cops when stupid ricers do that kinda stuff?
maybe its just the rain that is putting me in a bad mood,or does anyone else feel this way too?

Re: this really erks me!

It's the SRT4 thing...these guys have an insecurity problem. I get the same thing driving my GTO. Every pimply faced squirrel in a 5.0 Mustang or Civic wants to give it a go at the traffic lights.
It makes them feel important or boosts their (diminutive) egos or something.

Re: this really erks me!

I wouldn't say somebody wanting to square off at a traffic light means much, I'd rather have them do that then a ricer fly-by and turn on their flashers like they smoked me. I'd rather have them at least try. I've raced a Corvette off a light in my SHO just for the hell of it before. I knew I'd lose, and he probably knew he'd win. As long as they don't do that fly by crap and they're cool about I don't care what they're driving.

Re: this really erks me!

another thing that pisses me off about what ricers do is when you beat them, they try to race you again at the next stop light, wtf, i already beat your little puny car. so i just shake my head at them and it pisses them off. when will they ever learn.

Fuck em. You'll be cruising along at a safe speed, which means you'll be at a safe following distance when they lose control, fishtail, spin out and get totally 0wned by a lamppost. Kudos for driving sensibly

Re: this really erks me!

When i was driving my SS one night, something at like 9 PM, and it was pouring like mad, and thise Mustang GT (a Cobra Poser/Clone-red with Cobra R's, Cobra front end and Saleen Grille and Flowies) drops a gear and floors it. Idiot didnt get to far when he nearly slammed into the back of a Silverado. lol

I cant wait till i start driving my Thunderbird, i cant wait to see what the ricers face when i rev up the muffler-less 4.6 to 6 Grand.

Re: this really erks me!

I was going to taco bell one night and in order to get into the turning lane I had to get in front of the ricer next to me. Of course he followed me into the drive-through and out the exit. I heard him open it up on the way out and I let him get past me. Then I proceeded to obliderate him. Then I arrived at a light. I was stopped and it turned green and he flew past me again (he didn't have to stop). Once again I caught up nice and quick and obliderated him again.

Re: this really erks me!

I just don't get why the ones with the slowest cars are the ones who will race anything on the streets and act like they have the fastest cars out there, and the people that actually do have fast cars just play it cool. I don't get bugged too much, my car has the sleeper effect, but in my Accord it was ricer fly-bys all day long.

Because the people that actaully ARE fast don't need to "prove" it 6 times a day.
