1996 Mirage Tachometer hookup

I just recently bought another vehicle. I gave this car to my son. He wants to connect a tachometer to the engine. (kids huh?)
Anyway what lead do I attach the tach signal wire to?
Is it on the distributor?.........
Any help is appreciated.

John

Tach. info

I am sorry i mislead you.
The coil is inside your dist.
The wire you need is the White wire, that is RPM ref. to ecu/tcm or cruise control. agian sorry for the dumb wrong answer.
