Accord wagon

Just to prove i do build kits and not just buy them heres the accord ive been building for the last 2 year, spent that long choosing a colour. its based on the aoshima accord sir which comes with tinited windows, opening hatch and a set of bbs wheels (that have long since gone on other projects. you know how it is). Hopefully the open hatch with give a massive scope on interior styling.

All ive done so far is smooth (or shave) the rub strip from the doors along with the handles and made the massive mistake of removing the roof rails!!! Looks good but a pain in the butt because removing them leaves 2 massive holes in the roof and the filler kept cracking

dont rip the mess in the back ground too much. im trying to prove its possible to build 5 models at the same time in such a small space

planing a interior in black and tan. but im lost on wheels! help me or thatll be another 2 years on the shelf

I think people are catching the wagon fever.
Roof rails are cool. How could you... They make a car look slow
Forget about the other 4 models. Complete this one first.

Re: Accord wagon

Click the link below. See the raised black bars running down the length of the roof? Those are the roof bars. They tend to only come on higher specc'ed estates (Wagons)

made some more progess on this kit.

the body is mostly painted, just needs a clear coat now...

As you can see ive smoothed off the tailgate plate recess and choose my wheels, a set of Workmeisters. The dish and the chrome work well with the over all look and color of the car. What you probably cant see is mods ive made to the bumper. There a bit simple but look really good... ive just removed the vertical slants from the grill area. Not major but effective.

Get to grips with the interior this week I think
