talon dependibility
just curious how the 96 TSi's hold up, found a pretty good deal on one with an upgraded turbo, full body kit and several other things done to it, only problem is it has 128k on it.......any input?

Re: talon dependibility
check to see what oil they have been running and how often they changed it...see the last time they put a water pump and timing belt on! these are very high-maintenace cars, but if you take car of it, you should be ok, but be prepared to work and maintenace it!

Re: talon dependibility
Yea...maintenance is a biggy, also, I have heard the turbos in DSM motors are notorious for dying out around 125k miles. But if you said the turbo has been upgraded I guess you don't have much to worry about.
Although, a friend of mine said it best: "The one car I purchased with aftermarket parts on it is the one car that gave me the most trouble." I'd have a mechanic look at it before buying it, that could save you in the long run.
