crate engine
yeah im trying to finish up my dodge and sold off my 442 hemi for a different engine and im on a time budget so instead of having to go out and build one i figured i would give the crate engines a go, and i was looking for a crate engine, hemi preferably, that puts out a lot of HP and torque but the largest i found was the 528 and i was just wondering if there was anything out there that was bigger and better than that one

Re: crate engine
the 528 is the biggest but i believe you can still get more performace parts for it. a guy i know has one in a 65 super stock. here is his web page. http://dancook.westhost.com/
good luck

442 Hemi? Never heard of it.
If you're serious, you shouldn't buy a crate motor. MP quality control leaves much to be desired. You're better off going to a reputable engine builder and buying a complete motor from them. Ray Barton Racing Engines is one of the best. Barton sells up to a 640" Hemi. RBRE
