Re: Fire when i lift off the throttle

what happens there (in the case of the car, not gen's flatulance) is that when you lift you cut off the air, so you get a momentaraly rich condition untill the computer adapts and cuts fuel, that rich mixture dosnt fully burn in the cylender cuz there isnt enough air, so as it comes out as a hot gas, and enters the athmosphere, it combusts, creating the cool fireball out the back of the tailpipe. i would say so long as it stays on that side of the cylender head, your ok. when it starts coming out the intake, your gonna have a bad day.

Re: Fire when i lift off the throttle

You can buy kits that mount in your tailpipe.. They come with a seprate ignition coil, and a spark plug thats threaded into your exhaust pipe.. its all hooked up to a switch in your car, and from what im told, they're easy to hook up and relativly cheap.. It looks cool too

keep in mind that those flamethrower kits burn the paint on the rear bumper and leave horrible black marks all over the bumper in most cases. for this reason alone i'd never get one.

Re: Fire when i lift off the throttle

ahh.. cops will never notice? Yeah the melted paint and carbon are definatly cons of the flamethrower... But if your like me, and you like your tips to stick out an inch or two past the bumper, it'l be ok! its not something you should use every time you come to a red light
