Wink Mini Gt4

hi every one <---newb
an idea i have had coz i can get the parts and i need a big project
tell me if it is off key to far
i have seen a toyota GT4 st185 that is mercanicaly fine but body work complet right off doors roof windows boot bonet wings tale the lot
and i have a mini near me that the floor has gone but body is fine i can have now the running gear in the gt4 is great 50,000 miles
now i have seen a MR2 mini that used the toyota MR2 mk1 Chasi shortend with the body taken off and the minis put on
so i was thinking same thing with GT4 but make wider arch's
and cut and reweld the prop to size relocate what i can to the boot
then it would be a 2liter 350bhp 4wheel drive mini rallyesk sort of thing

i was just thinking you minis guys might have a few ideas
any help would be good help or any coment well recived

Thank you all

Re: Mini Gt4

Other than that, just a Hayabusa Turbo (+400hp) engine Mini !
Or 2 Yamaha R1 engines ... both seen in UK.

I am planning to put a vw golf 1600i motor in to a clubman, just looking for info on suspension and finer details of the job

Re: Mini Gt4

I haven't seen many Toyota-engined Mini's around at all, I have seen 1 4A-GE powered one and a 4E-FTE powered one, both FWD. 3S-GTE GT4 4WD Mini? Madness!!!! (Even though my Mini would still munch it, I wish....)

You saw a 4E-FTE mini? That's exactly what I want to do! Do you have any info or pics of it?

FWD though? I wanted to make mine mid-engine RWD.

Thanks.

try http://www.members.optushome.com.au/minigt/index.html.

This guy put a 4E-FTE in his Clubman GT, looks cool, reckon it would sound tough too.
